Refund Policy

The South Carolina Chapter of the IAEI is committed to providing valuable events and services to our members and the electrical community. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds for our various offerings.

For your protection, we will never ask you to send full credit card numbers or other sensitive payment information via email.

1. Event and Meeting Registration Refunds

This section applies to annual meetings, educational seminars, golf outings, and other ticketed chapter events.
Full Refund: A full refund of the registration fee will be issued for cancellation requests received in writing (via email) at least 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled event start date.
Partial/Credit: No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received less than 14 calendar days before the event. 
No-Shows: Attendees who register but do not attend the event ("no-shows") will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
Substitutions: Attendee substitutions from the same organization are welcome. Please notify us of any substitutions in advance.

2. Merchandise and Publications

If the SC IAEI offers merchandise or publications for sale:
Unused and undamaged items may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
The purchaser is responsible for any return shipping costs.
Refunds will be processed upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.

How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Please include the following information in your request:
Full Name
Name of the Event or Product
Date of Purchase
Transaction ID or Receipt Number
Reason for the Refund Request

Refund Processing

Once a refund request is received and approved, the refund will be processed within 10 business days. Refunds will always be credited back to the original method of payment (e.g., the credit card used for the purchase). You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

Policy Changes

The SC IAEI reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately.
